The course introduces students to the basics of information literacy. It is suitable for anyone interested in the topic, regardless of prior knowledge.
Information literacy has been a subject of study for the past 50 years, gaining increasing relevance due to the rapid and significant changes in the modern information environment. The issue of accessing, evaluating, and effectively and ethically using information continues to grow in importance. The development of AI technologies poses new challenges that information users should be able to handle.Information literacy is essential for developing effective information users.
