UTCB Student and EU-CONEXUS Alumni selected in the ESN International Board!
We are very happy and proud to announce that one of our UTCB and EU-CONEXUS alumni is now a part of the Erasmus Student Network International Board! We congratulate Ayberk M. Yavuz from the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages.
Ayberk was elected for the position of Treasurer by The General Assembly (GA) at their meeting in Zagreb, Croatia. The GA is the highest decision-making body of ESN International which votes on all Statutes and Standing Orders proposals, on all non-Statutory proposals and on the election of the Board, the Audit Commision and the Arbitration Board. The Assembly meets physically twice per year, in Autumn and Spring. The GA is coordinated by the General Assembly Chairing Team composed of the GA Chair, GA Administrator and GA Secretary. Apart from leading the GA meetings, the Charing Team also administers the GA throughout the year, allowing for actions like additional participatory procedures.
In Croatia, Ayberk met with other countries’ representatives and also with National Agencies’ representatives. He used this ocassion to tak to students about:

▶️What opportunities the alliance brings
▶️How can students find out more about it
He also shared various booklets, brochures, leaflets, posters and similar materials about higher education and exchange opportunities on behalf of UTCB and EU-CONEXUS. This allowed the students present to better understand the importance and relevance of such alliances for their future careers.
He will officially begin his mandate on the 1st of August, following the current period of transition for the new board.
