The EU-CONEXUS Research for Society project is near its conclusion, and everyone is invited to be part of the final dissemination event EU-CONEXUS Research for Society: Key Takeaways and Reflective Insights scheduled on February 1, 9:00 am CET. This online gathering will consider key topics that have shaped the project’s transformative journey over the past three years.
Agenda Highlights:
- Participatory Science Open for Community (9:05-9:30): Explore the challenges and creativity within participatory sciences as community actions and good practices take center stage. Hear insights from Zdenko Dundović and Florin Băltărețu.
- Knowledge Transfer & Innovation (9:30-9:55): Join Michael Gouin and Evanthia Chatzoglou in discussions about the Innovation Hub, a tool showcasing EU-CONEXUS innovations, and gain insights into the research infrastructure’s access policy and external services.
- EU-CONEXUS Research Platforms (10:00-10:15): Drahomira Cupar will present the OpenAIRE Gateway for EU-CONEXUS, while Aurelia Kuga introduces the EU-CONEXUS research portal Research & Innovation Information System (RIIS). Choose your session and discover the platforms driving innovation.
- Guiding Principles in Research (10:20-10:45): Eleni Miliou and Pablo Vidal will explore the commitment to research integrity for promoting Research and Innovation (R&I) and how to foster responsible research.
- Research Collaboration on Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability (10:45-11:10): Virginia Kolb leads a discussion on developing research collaboration on Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability (SmUCS), including membership to international research networks and the submission of a COST Action project.
- Wrap-Up and Discussion (11:15-11:50): The event concludes with main notes, followed by a discussion between EU-CONEXUS and SEA-EU alliance representatives. They will explore the differences in outcomes between SwafS projects, providing a unique opportunity for in-depth insights.
