The EU-CONEXUS collaborative space opened in Klaipeda University

The EU-CONEXUS collaborative space in Klaipeda University is now open! It will be available to the entire student community 24/7.

The space contains 8 separate work rooms, inviting both individual visitors and groups to create, discuss, and develop their ideas into something bigger. To elevate their experience, the space is also equipped with cameras and audio systems for high quality conference calls, as well as relaxation zones, a shared kitchen and a reading room.

KU Rector Prof. Dr. Artūras Razbadauskas officially opened the space by cutting a symbolic ribbon. The ceremony was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Rima Mickevičienė, Head of the EU-CONEXUS Project in Klaipėda and Augustas Andruška, President of the KU Student Union.

“KU and its entire student community was in need of a space like this for a while now, so today is a big day for us all. I believe that these walls will witness a lot of new ideas, inspiring research projects and other collaborative efforts in years to come,” said A. Razbadauskas in his opening speech.

As a partner university of EU-CONEXUS, with this gesture KU is setting a true example of what fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing looks like. Cheers to more inspiring news across the alliance and beyond!
