EU-CONEXUS presentation and Climate Fresk Workshop at UTCB Summer University
Last week, Technical University of Civil Engineering (UTCB) hosted 63 pupils from across Romania at the 2nd edition of UTCB Summer University. The aim of this event was to familiarise pupils from the upper cycle of high school with the university environment and offer them an experience of student life at UTCB to support their decision-making process in terms of further education once they graduate high school.
Throughout this week-long event, the pupils participated in a series of activities, such as:
- Presentations of UTCB faculties
- EU-CONEXUS presentation
- Informal educational activities, competitions, information sessions, and social activities powered by UTCB’s Career Counselling and Guidance Centre (CCOC) and UTCB’s Student Association – ASCB
- Climate Fresk Workshop powered by ClimatoSfera under the auspices of the EU-CONEXUS University to School Programme, and coordinated by UTCB.
UTCB Summer University took place under the auspices of the CNFIS-FDI-2024-F-0581 project “Social equity and equal opportunities for access to high-quality higher education — 2024”, and within the field of “Increasing social equity with a view to social inclusion and increasing access in higher education.”
