Collaboration between UTCB and KU at the 2024 ICMCSTE

Delighted to announce that during the International Conference on Mathematics, Computer Science and Technical Education (ICMCSTE), organized by UTCB, six of our fellow colleagues from Klaipeda University presented their papers, an effort which laid foundation for a fruitful collaboration on the subjects of common interest between the two partners.

Our colleagues from KU presented the following:

  • CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR ESL INTEGRATION INTO STEAM EDUCATION by Jevgenija Jerochina-Labanauskiene
  • INTEGRATION OF DIGITAL TOOLS IN BIOLOGY-CHEMISTRY STEAM ACTIVITIES by Rita Jankauskiene, Martyna Pareigyte
  • LEVERAGING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR INTERACTIVE LEARNING IN PHYSICS EDUCATION WITHIN THE STEAM EDUCATION FRAMEWORK by Vilius Skarbalius, Tomas Daukšas
  • GAMIFICATION OF STEAM LEARNING EXPERIENCES by Evaldas Zacharevičius, Olga Berežnova
  • ENHANCING STEAM EDUCATION THROUGH ROBOTICS: A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO MATH AND PHYSICS LEARNING by Gediminas Gricius
  • EXPLORING THE ROLE OF LEARNING ANALYTICS IN ENHANCING PERSONALIZED MATH AND SCIENCE EDUCATION: INSIGHTS FROM LITHUANIAN TEACHERS by Gražina Šmitienė, Julija Melnikova, Aleksandra Batuchina, Gita Šakytė-Statnickė

ICMCSTE is a peer-reviewed international conference, which covers various fields of research on mathematics, computer science and technical education, along with technical-enhanced learning, including blended learning, E-learning, ICT-based assessment, mobile learning.

This event took place between 24-26 May 2024, in hybrid format, and it was organized by the UTCB Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Annually it aims to stimulate research and interaction between mathematicians and engineers in all aspects related to pure and applied mathematics, computer science and technical education, serving as one

of the most important interdisciplinary forums for professors, researchers and post-graduate students in mathematics, computer science and engineering. For more info regarding this event, please make sure you check this link.
