Physical mobility of students for the Aquaculture course within EU-CONEXUS Minor in Blue Economy and Growth
The Laboratory of Applied Hydrobiology of the Department of Animal Science, Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) organised practical courses within the EU-CONEXUS Minor course in Aquaculture. Taking place on November 4-8, 2024, these courses were coordinated by AUA under the supervision of Assistant Professors Emmanouil Malandrakis and Arkadios Dimitroglou from the Department of Animal Science.
During these days, students from Lithuania, Spain, France, and Greece acquired valuable expertise in the fields of external and internal fish anatomy, fish anaesthesia, abiotic water parameter measurement, and aquaculture. Furthermore, Minor students had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of gene regulation in fish and acquire practical skills in aquaculture live prey hatching at the Laboratory of Applied Hydrobiology in the Department of Animal Science, AUA.
These courses were implemented with the support of the EU-CONEXUS Plus European University Alliance. Their main objective was to allow participants to understand and acquire skills and knowledge related to aquaculture.
