🎬 How an EU-CONEXUS Micro-Credential Transformed My Perspective Catherine Rutter, a Fine Art student at @setuireland Wexford campus, always had an interest in video. When she discovered the Introduction to Film Literacy and Filmmaking micro-credential, she saw it as the perfect opportunity to dive deeper into the practice.

Balancing studies and extra coursework wasn’t easy, but the flexible structure made it possible. “The timing fit perfectly into my schedule, with four small assessments and a final project spread over a few weeks—it was manageable even with my full-time studies.”

From 10 to 14 March, students from EU-CONEXUS partner universities gathered in France to kick off the minor course “Entrepreneurship and Innovation around sustainable tourism”, coordinated this semester by @opencampusinnov

During this intensive week, students worked in international teams to tackle a major challenge: designing an entrepreneurial project inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

🧑‍🎓🌎 Studying across borders!

Last week the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the @unirostock hosted a delegation of 15 students and two professors from the Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management of the @univlarochelle , Institut d’ Administration d’entreprise, France. One highlight of their visit was a trip to the City of Hamburg on Wednesday:

📍A talk on alternative planning concepts for urban spaces at Jupiter Event Space
📍Insights into challenges and opportunities for the @portofhamburg during lunch by the Elbe river
📍First-hand experience of new technologies in the food retail sector in a high-tech test supermarket
📍Checking out sustainable tourism concepts in an urban environment during a visit to BUNKER Hamburg, a historic landmark with an extensive green rooftop garden.

The week once again underlined the importance of international collaboration and connecting in-person to further the development of innovative ideas across Europe! The Learning Expedition is an early test for the development of a Joint Master Degree “Service Management and Management Information Systems” between both partners. The first cohort should be enrolled in Winter 2026/27.
