The Research Summer Camp 2023 at the University of Rostock, Germany, brings together young researchers from around the world. Presentations and workshops are held in a casual atmosphere fostering discussions on two general topics regarding coastal ecosystems:
- Secrets in the statistics of sea level extremes
(chair: Prof. Arne Arns) - Shifts in bio-geochemical processes following extreme events
(chair: Prof. Bernd Lennartz)
Participants of the Research Summer Camp will enroll in one of the two research themes and are expected to contribute in terms of experiences from case studies, data analysis, write-ups etc. We are aiming at generating tangible output such as a review paper to be published in an international journal.
