WORKLOAD & DELIVERY:
Micro-credentials are virtual-only – most of them are delivered in synchronous way, but some of them are delivered in asynchronous way.
Each micro-credential is worth 1 ECTS. This means 25-30 hours of total workload, including online classes plus individual studying, for 5-6 weeks. Each class lasts 2 hours.
Micro-credentials are delivered within EU-CONEXUS Academic Calendar:
– Autumn semester from 1st October until the end of January,
– Spring semester from 1st March until the end of June,
always depending on the micro-credential and its individual timetable.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this programme, you need to be aย Bachelor student (first cycle student)ย at one of EU- CONEXUS universities and haveย at least B2 level of English. You can certify your level of English by submitting an English certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, CEFR or equivalent) or any document that will be a proof of your level. If you do not have any official certificate, you will be asked to fill in an online English Placement Test and upload the certificate.
Certification:
There are 3 possible itineraries of the certificates:
- Individual. Take 1 micro-credential and you will get aย certificate of that specific micro-credentialย delivered by the host university.
- Interdisciplinary. Take 6 micro-credentials โ one from each of the sectors – and you will receive aย certificate of Micro-credentials in SmUCS.
- Expertise. Take 6 micro-credentials โ all from one same sector, and you will receive aย certificate of Micro-credentials in that specific sector.
