🚨 We launch the EU-CONEXUS Enables PhD Call: Research teams can now submit thesis subjects for the first stage of the call.

This project will offer five fully funded PhD positions focused on creating sustainable solutions to coastal challenges with Digital Twin technology.

After the thesis subjects are finalized, students will be able to apply for these positions on the second stage of this call.

THESIS SUBJECT SUBMISSION:

🔹 Submission deadline: February 28, 2025

🔹 Eligibility: Teams with both widening and non-widening partner university supervisors

🔹 Submission requirements: Complete the Subject Submission Form and upload the CVs of both supervisors

Discover, Design, and Inspire! Join our exciting Blended Intensive Programme Active Coastal Pathways – Designing Sustainable and Educational Trails 🍁🧍‍♂️🥾 and make a difference in your community while exploring the vibrant coastal city of Limassol, Cyprus.

👨‍🏫 Challenge-Based Approach: using hands-on fieldwork, teamwork, and digital mapping tools, you’ll tackle real-world challenges. By exploring natural and urban coastal areas, you’ll design interactive trails highlighting key ecological, cultural, and recreational elements. 

🌍🧑‍🤝‍🧑 The Challenge:
You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams to: 
Identify key stops in Limassol’s coastal environments. 
Document their significance using photos, GPS coordinates, and descriptions. 
Create an interactive digital map connecting these stops. 

📣 Enhance your knowledge, develop practical skills, and contribute to sustainable community projects—all while enjoying an unforgettable experience in Cyprus.
