Same same but different! The #EUCONEXUS universities may be scattered all across Europe but many researchers face similar challenges in the fields under the umbrella of Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability (SmUCS). So why not take advantage of the research mobility funds to get together, exchange ideas and collaborate on research projects? 🤝

EU-CONEXUS offers mobility opportunities for the research staff of our nine partner universities as well as internationally. Visit your colleagues within the alliance or attend an international conference on a SmUCS topic. Furthermore funds are available to invite external experts to EU-CONEXUS universities to share their knowledge.💡

➡️ Applications will be evaluated once per quarter. The first evaluation date for the “Call for invitation of external experts” and the “Call for participation in intl. conference” is 1 April. 25 years of DAIA, the German Association for Inter

25 years of DAIA, the German Association for International Education, hosted by the @rihunirostock of the @unirostock : The goal? Furthering knowledge exchange in the field of international higher education and sharing experiences in European university alliances.🤝

Over 20 participants from universities across Germany met in Rostock from 20-22 February to exchange experiences on topics including European university alliances, student mobility, strategic partnerships and more. Christin Zimmer and Leon Weber from the #EUCONEXUS team at the University of Rostock opened the conference with a presentation on our European alliances, including highlights and key learnings. Participants were especially interested in the well-established EU-CONEXUS #MinorProgramme for Bachelor students. Following the presentation, EU-CONEXUS engaged in a fruitful discussion on the chances of European University Alliances in boosting internationalization of higher education institutions. 🗨️
