Built around 800 BC, the ancient port of Amathus is now Cyprus’s first archaeological underwater park and a popular diving spot, known for its easy access, vibrant marine life, and suitability for both experienced and non-experienced divers. The area is characterized by impressive biodiversity, with various fish species and rich Posidonia meadows.
